The 130-plus strong Boston Police Academy Recruit Class #63-23 graduated Friday at the Convention Center in the Seaport with a nod to family tradition. Sgt. Winston DeLeon was able to pin his son, Winston M. DeLeon Jr. in what now is a true blue family memory. Both were front and center two decades ago.Ā 
The Head of the Charles Regatta, the super bowl of sculling, brings 11,000 rowers to the river this weekend. There's a good chance it will rain on Saturday, but Sunday could be the pick of the weekend.

The sensory room, as Massport put it, "has various interactive stations that focus on balance, light therapy and cognitive/memory improvement, including a room that replicates an airplane cabin to help passengers acclimate themselves with the often stressful experience of flying."
Cori Copley, of the Fairmont Copley Plaza, had a play date with Liberty Hotelā€™s Benny. The pooches are synonymous with what makes both spots so homey. Everyone was wagging about this reunion.
