Let us take a look at the new set of protocols we have come up

Before interacting with any guest, the front office staff mandatorily adheres to the hand hygiene guidelines prescribed by WHO: washing hands every hour, sanitizing hands before touching anything, using masks and disposable gloves. Our staff change their disposable gloves before interacting with every new guest. Once you reach the reception desk, post the thermal screening, the front desk manager hands you a face mask in case you are not carrying one of your own.

We then greet you with a Namaste as opposed to shaking your hands previously. After this, the front desk manager will show you his phone with the Aarogya Setu app for you to verify that they are safe and have not come in contact with any COVID-19 suspects. Similarly, you will also have to display your phone where the manager will check your safety status in the Aarogya Setu app installed on your phone.

Our front office staff will also make sure you follow social distancing (maintaining at least 6-feet distance) and stand on the floor marking made in the hotel premises.

At Treebo Hotels, we follow a completely contactless check-in. We collect your ID details from the email/Whatsapp message that you send us and verify it with the ID that you show us at the reception. The front desk manager alone fills out the Arrival/Departure register.

As per our revised Treebo Hygiene Shield protocols, every guest room has a bracket with a sanitizer dispenser and a box of tissues. These are timely refilled by the housekeeping staff at the time of cleaning. After cleaning, they spray a 4% Virex solution before re-installing the grill filter.

Treebo Hotels is now an ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) certified hotel chain that received its QMS certificate from KVQA in May’2020. Treebo Hotels cleared the stringent quality standards of ISO 9001:2015 which elucidates a number of processes such as aligning the business objective and intent with the QMS, demonstrating commitment and leadership by the top management, good planning to address organizational risks, changes, etc. KVQA verified all these standards followed by Treebo Hotels, post which the hotel chain obtained its QMS certificate. Obtaining ISO 9001 certification further validates and recognizes the company’s commitment to meeting globally recognized Quality Standards.

ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) Ceritifcation
ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) Certifcation

As an organization, we have been certified to be fully compliant with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. We have several teams distributed across different cities that closely monitor the safety and quality standards of all our properties to ensure a good quality stay to our guests. These teams carry out rigorous audits to check for every small and big issue (for instance, from bathroom cleanliness to overall safety of the property) and fix them immediately to provide a good customer experience every single time.

Keeping in mind the current COVID19 pandemic Treebo Hotels has also newly introduced the COVID Hygiene Audit.

COVID Hygiene Audit by Treebo Hotels

To make sure all functional properties under the Treebo flagship provide a 100% safe and secure stay, along with maintaining the regular quality standards, for our guests, Treebo Hotels also has commenced COVID Hygiene audit under the Treebo Hygiene Shield program which includes the following checks on a daily basis:

  • Greeting guests with a namaste as opposed to hand-shake

  • In-room dining for guests following proper hygiene standards
  • Adequate supply of sanitizers and tissues in the high-touch spots and rooms

Huge Milestone for Treebo Hotels

We made quality assurance and customer service core to our business model and strive to improve upon it with the ever-changing business scenarios. Getting an ISO 9001:2015 Certificate only explicates our obsession over providing the best quality stay experience to our guests in all Treebo properties across 100+ cities.

This is a huge milestone and definitely a moment of pride for us and our stakeholders as we consider it a reward for what we have strongly believed throughout our journey – Customers first. Always.

As a customer, if you are wondering what an ISO 9001:2015 certification is and why this is important to Treebo Hotels as a brand, hang in there as we will walk you through all the relevant details below.

What is an ISO 9001 and Quality Management System?

After a complete lockdown of two months, the Indian government has waved the green flag for domestic air travel along with an extensive list of rules and regulations that one must follow. Yes, Indian skies have opened up finally, and travelling now, as opposed to pre-COVID19, is going to be very different! Let’s look at the guidelines issued by the Health Ministry and State-issued quarantine protocols.

Guidelines Issued by the Health Ministry for Passenger Quarantine

The states have drastically reduced the number of domestic flights flying between different cities. The Health Ministry has also issued the following guidelines for flyers:

  • Passengers must reach the airport 2 hours before the flight
  • Travellers should install Aarogya Setu app on their phones
  • They must comply with the thermal screening procedure at the departure points

The mass novel coronavirus outbreak across the globe has citizens and travellers on edge. The health officials all over the world are urging caution and suggesting preventive measures, trying to reduce panic and perplexion among people. Coronavirus pandemic has spread to more than 200 countries and over 178,000 people have succumbed to this deadly virus. Here are some important facts and safety tips for you to stay safe during coronavirus pandemic.

Facts about Coronavirus

  1. The novel Coronavirus (nCoV) is a newly identified strain in the Coronavirus family that is extremely infectious.
  2. Coronaviruses affect the respiratory systems, the symptoms of which include breathing difficulties, cough, fever and breathlessness. The symptoms can take 2 to 14 days to show.
  3. Coronaviruses can affect anyone, anywhere regardless of their ethnicity or race.
  4. Coronavirus spreads from the affected person through nasal droplets while coughing or sneezing, direct contact (handshakes), touching something with the virus and immediately touching the eyes, mouth or nose without washing hands or through saliva droplets produced while coughing.

Tips to Stay Safe Amidst novel Coronavirus Pandemic

The best way to prevent yourself from contracting this virus is practising social distancing and staying at home. If you have to step out of your house for emergencies, here are some safety tips to follow to help minimise your chance of contracting the deadly novel coronavirus CoVID-19.

  1. Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds cleans most of the germs present on your hands.
  2. Respiratory Hygiene: Always cover your nose and mouth with your elbow or cloth while sneezing or coughing. Novel coronavirus spreads majorly through the nasal and saliva droplets of sneeze and cough.
  3. Social Distancing: Do not come in close contact or touch any person whether or not they are affected by the virus. Maintain at least 3-feet distance from people always.
  4. Call your doctor in case of fever/cold: In case you observe symptoms like fever, cough or breathing difficulties, stay at home and call your doctor immediately.
  5. Separate yourself from others: In case you observe any symptoms similar to CoVID-19, stay away from other people. Constantly clean and disinfect all the surfaces frequently touched you and ask a healthy member to do the same for other areas.
  6. Wear a cloth face cover when meeting others: Always wear a cloth face cover while meeting others. Do not use face masks meant for healthcare workers.

Follow these tips to reduce your chances of contracting the virus. Also, keep your self hydrated and drink plenty of warm water. Do not forget to carry a hand sanitizer and tissues wherever you travel. For more information on coronavirus or CoVID-19, frequently visit
