Former Patriots defensive backs Devin and Jason McCourty will host alternate broadcasts of all three of the team’s preseason games, the Patriots announced Sunday.
Fans can watch “The McCourty TwinCast” on Patriots.com and WBZ.com starting Thursday night at 7, when the Pats will kick off against Houston in their preseason opener. The McCourtys will discuss the exhibitions from their unique vantage points as recently retired players and burgeoning media stars.
“I am excited to watch Patriots football as a member of Pats Nation,” Devin said in a team release. “I am looking forward to giving great insight on training camp and the 2023 Patriots.”
The show is modeled after the popular “ManningCast,” which is televised at the same time as ESPN’s regular broadcast of Monday Night Football. The “McCourty TwinCast” will also be broadcast locally on WSBK TV 38 during the Patriots’ game at Green Bay on Aug. 19.
“I am excited to try something new,” Jason said in the same release. “I am fired up to welcome my brother to the broadcast side of football and look forward to hanging out and watching a game with him. Buckle up, because it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Devin, who retired this offseason, recently joined NBC as a studio analyst on “Football Night in America.” He made his network debut Thursday night before the league’s annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. Jason is a co-host on the NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.” He will also serve as a color commentary on some regular-season broadcasts this year for CBS.

It’s like what the hell does Belichick want us to say to the Patriots? But it was great. We had a phenomenal experience. … One of the things we’re doing right now that the Patriots did that we’re now doing that our players don’t like is [if] you jump offsides, you’re out, you lose your rep and you’ve got to run a lap around the field. The Patriots did that and we’re doing it now.”
